In this paper introduces a PV based generation system interlinked with shunt active power filter (SAPF) to provide the effective reactive compensation and mitigation of harmonics. The SAPF is comprised photovoltaic system, DC link capacitor voltage source inverter (VSI). current harmonics caused by nonlinear loads can be greatly reduced help filter. To generate reference regulation SAPF, artificial neural network proposed. Second Order Generalized Integrator (SOGI) Artificial Neural Network (ANN) controller engaged calculate for SAPF. ANN additionally boasts great compatibility digital implementation, control performance, lightning-fast dynamic reaction. demonstrate effectiveness superior concert proposed methodology, designed validated MATLAB simulations.
